Ericka O'Rourke of Salt and Sky in Bristol, Maine has designed 5 custom prints exclusively for the 2026 Maine Quilt Shop Hop. Ericka is a Maine-based painter whose work is rooted in close observation of the natural world. Living and working along the midcoast of Maine, she draws inspiration from the region’s rugged shoreline, shifting tides, quiet forests, and underlying geology. Her oil paintings explore the meeting place of land and water, time and tide, through a balance of representational and abstract forms.
An award-winning artist, Ericka has exhibited widely in juried and group exhibitions, and her work is held in private collections throughout the United States and internationally. She paints full time through her studio, of Salt and Sky, in Bristol, Maine.
